ADA Compliance Statement

The Golden Lights Foundation is committed to furthering the accessibility and usability of its website, goldenlightsfoundation.org The Golden Lights Foundation will be using the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to guide its compliance. The relevant portions of the WCAG will serve as our primary web accessibility standard, though other standards may also be used to provide accessibility to the extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What Have We Done?

This website was developed with the theme “Avada by the ThemeFusion”. This was done per “If you are unsure which theme to use for an accessible site, we recommend Twenty Fourteen as a beautiful, full-featured theme that is fully accessible.” from WordPress.org.

How We Are Testing?

The Golden Lights Foundation is using a variety of testing tools including but not limited to Web Accessibility by Level Access and AC Checker. Any adjustments are made based on feedback from these tests.

Based on the latest scans here are known possible ADA issues.

– Ensure Links that open new windows or frames do not open without a warning:

How Often Are We Testing?

An accessibility scan is done once per quarter based on the following schedule:

First quarter runs from January 01 – March 31.
Second quarter runs from April 01 – June 30.
Third quarter runs from July 01 – September 30.
Fourth quarter runs from October 01 – December 31.
